Jesus came, died and was resurrected in order to build His Church. The Church is the hope of the world. Jesus was the perfect model of being a leader because of the way He served God and people. We are all called to serve in some way, and leading for Jesus simply means that we are sensitive and open to how we can serve those who we have been entrusted with (family, friends, co-workers, etc). Even if that means stepping outside of our comfort zone. Today, ask God how you can lead [serve] more effectively and how you can mirror the characteristics of Jesus. Pray for your pastors, leaders and church family that we all might fulfill the mission of making disciples and helping as many people as possible to lead a God-first life. Pray for the launch of The Springs Church and the people who will be impacted by and through the community of The Springs Church.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
— Matthew 16:18

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
— Acts 2:42-47

When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith. I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.
