GET A GRIP
Day 17 | 08.20
So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.
HEBREWS 12:12 (NLT)
We all get tired and worn down at some point. The apostle Paul is talking about running the race of life in a way that we will win. So in order to do that remembering to get a new grip and more strength is key because if we do that instead of giving up, we will finish our race in a way that we can be proud of.
• Think of a time when you were tired and got strength and a time when you got weary and gave up. Which one made you feel better? Why?
• What are some important things that we can have in place in our life that will help us make sure that we finish the race strong?
Pray today for strength if you are in a season where you are feeling weak. Ask God if you are trying to do too much and if you are not confess your need for Him to make up the gap and help you complete what He is calling you to do.
If you are in a season of strength think about and pray for a couple of the people that you are doing life with that might need some extra strength.
Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Col 2:7
We know that true strength comes from the Lord. What action can you take today to help your roots grow deeper into Christ so that we can tap into the strength that comes from a life built on Him.
