Do you remember what your life was like before you trusted Christ as your Savior? The brokenness, the emptiness, the addiction, the suffering, and the pain. When your heart was in a completely different place. Your heart may have been torn, broken, taken advantage of, hardened and God had to do some major surgery. Take some time today to reflect on that time in your life and thank God for captivating your heart. Ask God to give you a heart for those who are far from Him. Pray for boldness and opportunity to share the same love you received from Christ with someone else. Ask God to slow you down, to open your eyes to needs of the world around you and to help you to become more sensitive to those who are far from Him. There is a bigger need out in the world than just in your own life. Ask God to burden your heart for people have not experienced the love of Christ.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
— Luke 19:10

This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
— 1 Timothy 2:3-4

How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
— Isaiah 52:7
